Pyunik changes coach

After a poor start of the season, Pyunik Yerevan sacked their coach Armen Gyulbudagyants and replaced him with Vardan Minasyan. This change should give the team some fresh thoughts before their match-up with Anorthosis Famagusta in the UEFA Champions' League first qualifying round. The reason for Pyunik's poor performance in the league is their transfer policy. They sold their key players and found no replacements, so numerous teenage starlets were promoted from the home academy. Of course, lacking experience and skill it lead Pyunik to being only third in the moment, losing 11 points to the re-born leaders from Ararat Yerevan.
