Saudi player hits Europe
Jeddah star Hamid Abdulghani is set to join Swiss side Neuchatel Xamax. That would mean he would be one of the first Saudis to play here in Europe. We all remember the first famous one - Sami Al-Jaber in Wolverhampton Wanderers few years ago. Abdulghani, a 31-year-old Saudi international was previously on trial with French side Lorient, but decided to sign for Neuchatel Xamax.

Best of luck to Abdulghani , it is nice to finally see Saudi players reaching European leagues. It is still a puzzel for me why would he be signed to a 3-year deal when is he is 31 years old. It seems that it was a bit excessive for a player in his age. what do you think?
You know, it all depends. Some players play 'til their 40s some retire at 25 ;)
Some good motivation would probably make them play longer. Fans would definitely do their share.
